Atalaya Old Course

Designed by German master golf course architect Bernhard von Limbuger
With generous, wide fairways this shady course set amongst mature trees and flowering shrubs is ideal for walking. It offers beautiful views of La Concha and the Mediterranean, as well as streams and lakes populated by many species of water birds. There’s a comprehensive short game practice area, and the Atalaya Golf Academy with its complete range of practice facilities.
Atalaya New Course
Par-72/ Opened 1990
Designed by German master golf course architect Paul Krings
Set in the hills above the Old Course, the New Course rewards accuracy off the tee, rather than out and out length. A number of the fairways and greens feature slopes and elevation changes, requiring careful shot selection. There’s a pretty lake on the 4th and a natural wood in the centre of the course. Wildlife abounds, as do panoramic views. We recommend hiring a buggy to beat the summer heat, although it’s a perfectly walkable course.
Fuel up or cool down
Grab a snack or drink at the well-stocked café near the 1st hole or relax after your game on the elevated terrace overlooking the 9th green. There’s also the academy café conveniently located next to the 13th fairway. In the clubhouse, relax on the terrace with panoramic views of the course, or enjoy the airy atmosphere of the bar and restaurant.
Shop like a pro
The pro shop is stocked with a range of well-known brands, many of which include the club logo to keep as a memento of your day at Atalaya. The staff have a wealth of knowledge and will happily advise you on the perfect purchase for any of your golfing needs.
